They aim to improve your overall mobility, recovery and postural complaints. Our RMTs use a variety of techniques including deep tissue massage, sports massage, neuromuscular techniques to target trigger points/muscular adhesions, myo-fascial release, Swedish massage and visceral manipulation. Our RMTs are passionate about what they do and strive for further training to improve their skills as valuable practitioners.

Some Areas Registered Massage Therapy Can Improve:

Recovery after sports/activity: manipulation of tissues post activity will improve regeneration of new fibers, ensure quality repair and prevent unwanted scar tissue. This all leads to improved performance and reduced risk of injury.

Mobility of joint and muscle: appropriate techniques can lead to improved length and flexibility of the muscles that will allow for greater movement, thereby improving mobility of the joint. Correct mechanics of the muscle and joint are vital in prevention and improvement of injuries.

Performance: improving mechanics of the body through tissue flexibility, reducing adhesions and optimizing muscle function will all lead to improved functional performance. Not only in the sporting environment but in postural complaints that we all deal with on a daily basis.

Circulation and relaxation: tissue manipulation will improve blood circulation, allowing nutrients to be delivered throughout the body and for the release of toxins. This combined with the clinic’s sensorial experience will promote relaxation and reduce stress; a heightened nervous system is associated with injury and negatively affects one’s rehab.
